A few inches below the knees will do and would give enough space to flaunt your lovely legs. Aside from flaunting your legs, tea-length dresses can also emphasize your feet and your pair of shoes or sandals. That’s one thing you cannot do if your feet are covered by extra-long skirts.

Finally, wearing a tea-length dress can also have a practical purpose. It was mentioned above that this type of dress is usually used in outdoor settings and it’s for a good reason. Wearing a dress with a train just isn’t practical when you’re walking on a grassy or sandy ground, for example. You’ll just end up messing the train so badly, you’ll ask yourself why you had one fitted in the first place.
